According to ТСН: In a nighttime attack on Kyiv on December 27, Russia hit the dormitory of the National Aviation University, striking the 9th floor in the Solomyanskyi district.
Details of the event
Kyiv's head of the State Administration, Timur Tkachенко, spoke about the incident. The rector of NAU, Ksenia Semenova, confirmed that the strike hit the elevator shaft. Fortunately, there were no casualties, but the windows in the dormitory were shattered.
Other strikes in the city
Additionally, in the Darnytskyi district, there was a strike on a 24-story residential building, which also caused fires in the private sector. In the Dniprovskyi district, an 18-story building was damaged, where a fire broke out on the fourth floor.
In several other areas of the city, fires broke out in vehicles, a garage cooperative was partially destroyed, and windows were shattered in buildings. As of this morning, at least ten injured individuals have been reported, including two children.
Earlier reports indicated that after the strike, part of the capital was left without heating.
This attack has further confirmed the ongoing threats to the civilian population of Kyiv. Authorities are once again urging residents to be vigilant and adhere to safety measures. The absence of casualties in the dormitory, despite the severity of the situation, provides a glimmer of hope, but the consequences of these attacks leave a deep mark on the lives of the city residents.
