Russia explained the nighttime strike on Ukraine: the targets of the attack were named.
According to inkorr.com: The Ministry of Defense of Russia explained the massive strike on Ukraine that took place on the night of September 28, calling it a "strike with high-precision long-range air and naval-based weapons, as well as strike drones against facilities of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine and military infrastructure," stating that "the objectives of the strike were achieved."
"Tonight, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation carried out a massive strike with high-precision long-range air, naval-based weapons, and strike unmanned aerial vehicles on enterprises of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine that are used in the interests of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as on the infrastructure of military airfields," the Russian military department boasted.
Consequences of the strike
Recall that on September 28, Kyiv Oblast was attacked by Russian military forces, leading to fatalities, destruction, and numerous injuries. Chaplain-volunteer Mark Sergeyev shared details of the shelling in Borshchahivka, where his family miraculously avoided tragedy as the shell hit directly into the room where his children were sleeping on the third floor.
The Russian Ministry of Defense made a cynical statement attempting to justify its massive strike on Kyiv Oblast, but the consequences of this attack turned out to be extremely tragic, causing massive destruction and casualties among the civilian population.
This strike became another episode in the rising aggression of Russia against Ukraine and once again confirmed the scale of suffering experienced by the civilian population. Many families have lost their homes, and some have lost loved ones. Therefore, the international community continues to monitor the developments, calling for peace and an end to the conflict.
