Russians attacked Odesa with drones on the eve of the New Year: there are power outages.
According to ТСН: Just a few minutes before the New Year, Russian terrorists once again attacked the energy infrastructure of the Odesa region, which is crucial for the civilian population, using strike drones.
This was reported by the head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, Oleg Kiper.
As a result of the attack, a fire broke out at one of the energy facilities. Power supply disruptions have also been recorded for critical enterprises that provide the essentials for the life of Odesa.
All relevant services are working in an enhanced mode to eliminate the consequences of the enemy strike. Information regarding the extent of the damage and restoration of power supply is currently being clarified.
Previous Attacks
It should be noted that on the night of December 31, Russian occupiers launched 20 strike drones at Odesa and Chornomorsk, resulting in five people being injured. Enemy drones hit residential buildings and postal warehousing, as well as destroyed private vehicles, causing large-scale fires. Due to hits on energy and life support facilities, a significant part of the Odesa region was left without electricity, heating, and water supply.
These attacks demonstrate a constant threat to Ukraine's infrastructure, as enemy actions are aimed at destabilizing the situation in regions that particularly require stability. Despite these challenges, Ukrainian services continue to act to ensure safety and restore critical systems.
