Russians mass attacked Odesa region: there is a victim and power outage.
Occupants attacked Odesa with drones
On February 20 this year, Russian occupiers conducted another attack on Odesa with a large number of drones. Their target was an energy facility. This was reported by Oleg Kiper, the head of the regional military administration, and the DTEK company.
As a result of this attack, one man, aged 55, sustained moderate injuries and was hospitalized.
In addition, fires broke out in the city on the roof of a public catering facility and a warehouse building, an administrative building, a car wash, a road, and the front window of a private house were damaged.
Representatives of DTEK stated that their energy facility had been under attack for the second night in a row. As soon as they receive permission from the military and rescuers, specialists will begin to inspect the equipment and carry out emergency recovery work.
As a result of the attack, about 5 thousand residents of one of the Odesa districts remain without power supply. After two days of shelling in the Odesa district, 89,500 subscribers were left without electricity.
Currently, services are working around the clock to eliminate the consequences of both attacks.
Recall that on the night of February 20, the Russians began shelling the cities of Ukraine. Residential buildings in Kherson and Odesa were damaged by bullets and falling shrapnel. So far, four victims have been reported.
In addition, powerful explosions have rocked Kyiv. Russian drones attacked the capital. The enemy also carried out an attack on civilian infrastructure and residential buildings in Odesa. This caused fires on the roof of a public institution and a warehouse building.
