Russians violated the energy truce by striking a critical facility in Sloviansk.

On the evening of March 18, Russian forces launched an attack on the critical infrastructure of the city of Sloviansk in Donetsk region. This was reported by 'Glavkom' citing local sources.
It is noted that the Russians attacked one of the substations in the city. Local residents report that there is temporarily no electrical lighting in Sloviansk. Several districts have completely lost power.
Military observer Bohdan Miroshnykov noted that the enemy used an air bomb to attack the energy infrastructure of Sloviansk.
It is worth noting that today, U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin held a phone conversation during which they discussed the necessity of peace and a ceasefire in the war in Ukraine.
'The leaders agreed that the move towards peace will begin with a ceasefire in energy and infrastructure, as well as technical negotiations on establishing a maritime truce in the Black Sea, a complete cessation of hostilities, and the creation of lasting peace,' the statement said.
The Russian dictator supported the idea of the U.S. president about mutual renunciation of attacks on energy infrastructure for 30 days.
Earlier, the American leader stated that he is looking forward to a conversation with the Russian dictator Putin.
It should be noted that U.S. President Donald Trump is 'determined' to conclude a peace agreement to end the Russo-Ukrainian war. White House spokeswoman Caroline Levitt emphasized that the U.S. is 'on the home stretch.'
