This was reported by Roman Pysarenko, head of the communications department of the 79th Air Assault Brigade, during the broadcast of 'Morning.LIVE'.

He emphasized that the occupiers are constantly trying to storm the positions of the Ukrainian military, but the brigade fighters are successfully holding their positions. It was noted in his words that in the area of responsibility of the 79th brigade, the enemy can advance 'by meters or tens of meters' only in the so-called 'gray' zone.

Enemy efforts and the defense of Ukrainian troops

Russian forces are trying to advance towards Myrnohrad-Pokrovsk to cut the land corridor, but the Ukrainian Defense Forces are preventing this active offensive. The defenders of Ukraine reliably control this important logistical route.

'The enemy cannot cut this land corridor between Myrnohrad and Pokrovsk right now because the Defense Forces reliably hold this logistical route,' emphasized Roman Pysarenko.

Earlier, the press service of the 7th Air Assault Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted that Russian troops have intensified pressure on Myrnohrad and are trying to sever the land connection between this city and Pokrovsk, advancing towards the settlements of Rivne and Svitlyi.

Chief of the General Staff Andriy Hnatov also reported that over 100,000 Russian troops are concentrated in the Pokrovsk direction, attempting to strengthen their presence and complicate the defense of the city.

Amid ongoing fighting and a tense situation in the region, Ukrainian troops are demonstrating determination and capability to defend their positions. Control over land routes remains strategically important for ensuring defensive operations and the safety of local residents. The response of Ukrainian forces to the active actions of the enemy is evidence of their readiness for a prolonged struggle.
