New Support Initiative for Veterans
According to Novyny.live: A fresh support program for Ukrainians has been launched, offering financial assistance to veterans who have lost their sight. The initiative began on July 1, 2026, aiming to improve the quality of life for combat participants and individuals with war-related disabilities. Applications for these payments are now being accepted from that date and will remain open until October 30, 2026. This effort is part of broader social recovery measures for those affected by the conflict.
Eligible veterans can receive up to 95,000 hryvnias. These funds are intended for purchasing specialized household appliances that make daily living easier.
Yuliia Svyrydenko noted that 'they can be used to set up household arrangements and create a more comfortable and safe living space.'
