Russians attacked Sumy region with a drone: a child died, a teenager is in serious condition.
Russian troops attacked the Sumy region on Saturday, August 2, using strike drones. As a result, one child was killed and one teenager is in serious condition.
Consequences of the attack on August 2
“At approximately 14:30, the enemy launched an attack on the Svessk community. Two teenagers who were near the strike site were injured. A 12-year-old boy died before medical assistance arrived”, reported the head of the Sumy military administration, Oleg Grygorov.
According to him, a 13-year-old teenager suffered shrapnel wounds and was subsequently hospitalized by ambulance. Doctors are now fighting for his life.
“The circumstances of the tragedy are being established. Russia continues to attack civilians, including children. I urge residents of border communities to be cautious and protect themselves and their children”, concluded the head of the OVA.
It is also worth mentioning that Russia also attacked Druzhkivka in the Donetsk region on August 2 and shelled Kharkiv earlier, on August 1. In both cases, a large number of people were injured, including children.
As a result of the attack by Russian troops on the Sumy region, one child died, and another teenager is currently in serious condition. The head of the Sumy military administration urged residents of border communities to be careful and protect themselves and their children from such attacks by Russia, which continues to target civilians, including children.
