Zaporizhzhia Region Under Fire

According to Novyny.live: On March 2, Russian occupying forces attacked 39 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region, launching a total of 808 strikes. These attacks wounded four people, including two children. The Zaporizhzhia region, home to Europe's largest nuclear power plant, remains a critical and heavily contested frontline in the war.

The enemy carried out 20 airstrikes on settlements, including Malokaterynivka and Komyshuvakha. In the assault, 574 drones targeted Zaporizhzhia, Vilniansk, Komyshukha, and other towns. Seven rocket artillery strikes were also recorded against Prymorske and other settlements. Furthermore, 207 artillery strikes hit Chervonodniprovka, Stepnohirsk, and other communities. As a result, authorities received 34 reports of damage to homes, vehicles, and infrastructure.

Artillery fire struck Chervonodniprovka, Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Pavlivka, Huliaipole, Orikhiv, Zaliznychne, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Bilohiria, Sviatopetrivka, Staroukrainka, Krynychne, and Dobropillia.

Also on March 2, the occupiers attacked Kryvyi Rih in the Dnipropetrovsk region. This follows a strike on Kherson the previous day, March 1, which killed four people.

These events underscore the severity of the situation in Ukraine and the persistent threat posed by Russian military forces. The ongoing shelling of the Zaporizhzhia region and other parts of Ukraine indicates a continuation of active Russian military operations.
