Russians attempted to break through to the outskirts of the city of Kup'yansk
Yesterday, November 13, Russian troops managed to break through to the outskirts of the city of Kup'yansk in the Kharkiv region and landed their paratroopers. However, noted the head of the Kup'yansk city military administration Andriy Besedin, they were unable to establish themselves in the city. As of today, November 14, the situation in Kup'yansk is under control.
The analytical project DeepState reported on the successful advances of Russian troops in eastern Ukraine. In particular, they managed to occupy Illinka and enter Kup'yansk.
Two columns of enemy equipment were moving from the Lyman Pershyi area to Kup'yansk towards the highway to Svatove. One of them consisted of two MT-LBs, an BMP, and a tank. Ukrainian defense forces managed to strike at the enemy when the Russian side was attempting to send reinforcements.
At the same time, the Ukrainian defense forces were able to restore their positions near Chasiv Yar and repel an enemy assault attempt near Huliaipole. However, Russian occupiers continue to advance near Toretsk, Kurakhove, Vuhledar, and the area along the administrative border of Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions.
