Russia modifies Shaheds: the warhead of drones will increase almost twice.
The Russian Federation increases the warhead of strike UAVs
The Russian army has begun modifying strike drones that are launched over the territory of Ukraine. The new 'Shaheds' will contain almost twice as much warhead.
This was reported by the commander of the reconnaissance unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Denis Yaroslavskyy, during the Morning.LIVE broadcast.
The Russian army is already working to enhance the warhead of drones and increase not only their speed but also strengthen their strike. Soon, according to intelligence, 'Shaheds' will have an enhanced warhead with a larger amount of explosives.
'Currently, 'Shaheds' use a warhead of 50-55 kg, but we understand from intelligence that they are trying to increase it to 80-90 kg. This is already a problem. If such a 'Shahed' hits a nine-story building, it will destroy everything up to the fifth floor', - Yaroslavskyy reported.
Earlier, Volodymyr Zelensky showcased how the Russian army 'hunts' civilians and called on the world for decisive action to stop Russia.
It also became known what the market in Odesa looks like after a drone strike.
It was reported that the Russian army plans to strengthen the warhead of strike drones, increasing the amount of explosives to 80-90 kg. This may lead to serious destruction in the event of drone strikes on residential buildings.Read also
