Shelling in the Kharkiv Region

According to Novyny.live: Russian forces targeted five communities in Ukraine's Kharkiv region over the past day. Regional authorities report that no casualties have been confirmed at this time. The attacks involved drones that damaged infrastructure in several areas, while the evacuation of civilians from frontline zones remains ongoing.

The affected locations include:

  • The village of Karavan, where an infrastructure facility was damaged;
  • The villages of Klynova-Novoselivka and Skoryky;
  • An industrial enterprise in the town of Zolochiv;
  • A gas station in the city of Chuhuiv.

Due to the ongoing danger, an evacuation hub in the city of Lozova received 13 people in the last 24 hours. Since this hub began operating, a total of 16,805 individuals have been registered as they fled the dangerous border areas. Governor Oleh Syniehubov stated the situation in the region remains tense, and authorities are taking all necessary measures to ensure resident safety. The Kharkiv region has faced persistent attacks since the full-scale invasion began in 2022.

Regional Situation

The situation in Kharkiv Oblast remains severe, with continued attacks posing a direct threat to civilians. Local authorities are actively working on security measures, including evacuating people from high-risk zones. The damage to critical infrastructure from the shelling creates significant obstacles to restoring normal life, underscoring the region's need for sustained international support and recovery assistance.
