Information about combat operations

As of 16:00, there were more than 100 clashes on the front. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports that the fiercest enemy actions are taking place in the Pokrovsk, Lyman, and Novopavlivka directions. The occupiers attempted to attack Lyman region 15 times and Novopavlivka 11 times.

Situation in the Pokrovsk direction

The Pokrovsk direction remains the most challenging on the front. According to the General Staff, Ukrainian forces repelled the largest number of attacks in this direction – 38 attempts to advance by the enemy in 15 populated areas. Defenders emphasize that all Russian attacks were stopped.

'Sometimes it's difficult, it really is. But we are working, we have an excellent team, we have a great platoon, everyone is in their place, everyone knows their job, and, therefore, team work ensures an effective result,' said the operator of strike drones from the 3rd mechanized battalion of the 60th Ombr with the call sign 'Dok.'

Other fronts

In the Seversk direction, the defense forces stopped Russian troops attempting to advance near Serebryanka. Three attacks were repelled in the Orihiv direction. In the Kupiansk direction, defenders stopped six assaults, and five attacks were noted in the Toretsk, Yuzhno-Slobozhansk, and other directions. Military experts positively assess the successes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Donetsk, Kharkiv, and Sumy regions.

'I think that for the Russians today the situation is not the best, firstly. Secondly, it resembles a suitcase without a handle, meaning it is hard to carry, but it is a pity to throw it away for one reason: they still need to report to the 'tsar' that something is still happening in Sumy. Indeed, battles are ongoing, they are fierce, but, nevertheless, the initiative today in the Sumy direction is somewhat on the side of the Ukrainian defense forces,' said spokesman for the Ukrainian volunteer army, Serhiy Bratchuk.

Use of manpower

Ukrainian aerial reconnaissance has recorded how Russian commanders actually push their soldiers into 'meat assaults' in the Sumy region. The video shows a commander trying to hide, believing that this place is safe. However, drone operators and artillery turn all attempts of Russian assault troops into failure.

'They are just using their people. For them, it is a kind of resource. There are those who, upon hearing a drone, immediately lie down and put their hands up. They are just beads! Russian occupiers! See a drone – drop your weapon, raise your hands and you will live!' said a drone operator of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the call sign 'Borysfen.'

Enemy losses

In the past day, Russia lost 850 soldiers at the front. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, total enemy losses have exceeded 1 million 80 thousand personnel. Ukraine's defense forces also destroyed six tanks, 19 armored vehicles, 47 artillery systems, 316 drones, and 106 vehicles.

The situation at the front continues to remain tense, with significant losses on both sides. The Ukrainian defense forces demonstrate resilience in confronting enemy attacks while recording significant losses of Russian occupiers. Offensive changes on the battlefields could significantly impact the further development of the conflict, so it is important to monitor events in this area.
