Dissatisfaction with the dissolution of the DK 8 unit

According to inkorr.com:

Yuriy Kasyanov, the head of DK 8 within the State Border Guard Service, expressed dissatisfaction with the groundless dissolution of this unit, which actively operated deep within Russian territory. Additionally, the commander of the Armed Forces' drone systems, Robert Madyar Brovdiy, agreed with his opinion, urging to preserve specialists and not to disperse people with significant experience and appropriate qualifications, as reported by Hlavkom.

In his Facebook post, Kasyanov stated his intention to participate in a protest on Maidan to draw attention to the situation. He emphasized that the unit's goal is to wish to engage in the war as part of a team, rather than engage in political disputes. Furthermore, he noted that the fighters of DK 8 actively operated in Russian territory, one of their achievements can be considered a strike on the Moscow Kremlin.

Kasyanov reiterated that the dissolution of the unit is an unjustified step and called to preserve specialists with significant experience and appropriate qualifications. He is convinced that the contribution of this unit can be essential in the context of security around the Moscow Kremlin.

Other interested parties also supported his initiatives, emphasizing the importance of maintaining an effective unit for performing military duties and avoiding political conflicts.

This situation highlights the importance of preserving qualified military formations in critical times for the country. The protest on Maidan could be an opportunity not only for expressing public opinion but also for discussing further actions in the field of security and defense of Ukraine.
