North Korea: DPRK ready to supply drones and military to Russia.
North Korea plans to send additional troops to Russia and provide it with military equipment, including kamikaze drones, for use in the war against Ukraine. This was reported by RBK-Ukraine, citing Yonhap News Agency.
The intelligence services of South Korea have concluded that North Korea is preparing to deploy or increase its troops in Russia. This assessment is based on Seoul's data regarding the dispatch of thousands of soldiers from North Korea to Russia, which is actively aggressing against Ukraine, as well as on losses among North Korean servicemen during the fighting.
According to South Korean intelligence agency data, the number of killed or wounded servicemen from North Korea is approximately 1,100 individuals.
'Comprehensive analysis of intelligence data indicates that North Korea is preparing for the rotation or deployment of troops in Russia while also providing multiple launch rocket systems and self-propelled artillery,' said the Joint Chiefs of Staff of South Korea.
There are also 'some signs' that North Korea has begun the production and supply of kamikaze drones, which were introduced by DPRK leader Kim Jong Un in November.
According to the Joint Chiefs of Staff of South Korea, Pyongyang is encouraged to gain practical combat experience and modernize its weapon systems.
Last month, it was reported that Kim Jong Un observed the testing of various types of kamikaze drones and called for large-scale production of such weapons due to their economic efficiency.
