The Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine honored the memory of the reconnaissance saboteurs of the 'Brotherhood' unit from the 'Timur Special Unit' of the GUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, who died while performing a combat mission.

Their stories and contribution to the common cause of the struggle for Ukraine will remain a guiding star for all subsequent generations of defenders of our freedom and statehood,' the statement said.
The GUR reports that on December 25, 2022, the group of scouts was conducting a deep raid into the territory controlled by the enemy. When confronted by Russian troops, four scouts refused to surrender and fought to the end.

It should be noted that a warehouse in the economic zone 'Alabuga' in the Russian Federation caught fire, where components for Shahed-136 drones were stored, which the aggressor uses for attacks on Ukraine. The reported losses amount to $16 million. The intelligence agency noted that the mysterious destructive fire was yet another blow to the military-industrial complex of terrorist Russia.
Earlier it was reported that a military transport plane An-72 exploded at the 'Ostafyevo' airfield in the Moscow region. The estimated cost of the disabled plane is about $4.5 million. The GUR once again emphasized that there will be just retribution for every military crime committed against the Ukrainian people.
