Border violation on the Danube
According to inkorr.com: On the Danube River, two Romanian boats illegally crossed the border of Ukraine. According to the State Border Guard Service, border guards managed to detain the violators with a few hours difference. It turned out that the vessels went fishing without the necessary maps and navigation instruments, which led them into the territory of Ukraine.
Four citizens of Romania were issued administrative protocols for illegal border crossing, after which the violators were handed over to the Romanian authorities.
Rescue of a Ukrainian in the Maramureș Mountains
In the Maramureș Mountains, rescuers conducted a rescue operation for a Ukrainian who had been without water and shelter for four days near the summit of Pip Ivan. Due to the serious condition of his health, it was decided to evacuate him by helicopter, as ground rescue operations would require significant efforts from eight additional mountain rescuers and would take from 10 to 12 hours.
Border guards detained two Romanian boats that violated the border, and rescuers successfully saved a Ukrainian in difficult conditions. All violators were duly handed over to the relevant authorities, and overall the events concluded without serious consequences.
These events underscore the importance of adhering to international maritime borders, as well as the effectiveness of rescue services in difficult situations. State authorities continue to work on ensuring safety both on water and in the mountains, which is crucial for protecting citizens.
