At the summit of European leaders in London, agreements were reached regarding Ukraine. President Volodymyr Zelensky participated in this summit organized by UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

The main goal of the summit was to develop a plan to end the war in Ukraine. At the meeting, it was agreed to continue providing military assistance to Ukraine and to increase economic pressure on Russia. It was also decided to prevent a repeat invasion of Russia. They will also create a 'coalition of the willing' and discuss further progress on the developed plan. European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen noted that the main theme of the meeting was security guarantees and ways to strengthen Ukraine and protect partners. US President Donald Trump also expressed his support for the peacekeeping plan.

Furthermore, at a separate press conference, it was noted that a special meeting of the European Council will take place in a few days, where specific proposals from the European Commission will be discussed. NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte confirmed that many European countries will increase defense spending. Turkey is also offering its platform for peace negotiations between Ukraine and Russia.

After participating in the summit, Zelensky met with King Charles III. The President's Office reported that the summit participants reached a clear position that the basis for a ceasefire must be strong security guarantees, as well as considering the possibility of involving NATO mechanisms to support the Ukrainian army. The decision on sanctions against Russia remains on the table until a sustainable peace is achieved.
