Tomorrow, September 12, 2025, the Sharhorod community will say goodbye to two schoolchildren - Vladislav Bevza and Mykola Pylyp, who became victims of an armed knife attack by a former teacher of one of the deceased on September 10. This was reported by the mayor of the Sharhorod city council, Volodymyr Baretzky, as informed by 'Glavkom'.

Farewell to the schoolchildren

According to inkorr.com: The mayor of Sharhorod addressed the residents of the community with a request to honor the memory of Vladislav Bevza and Mykola Pylyp with prayer and to come and pay them their last respects and support their families in grief.

The funeral will take place tomorrow, September 12, in the village of Kopystyrin. Approximately at 11:00, the children will be escorted on their last earthly journey from their family home.

At 12:00, a joint memorial service will be held at the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the village of Kopystyrin. The boys will be buried at the Kopystyrin cemetery No. 1, at the entrance to the village from the side of Sharhorod.

Tragedy in Sharhorod

Recall that on the morning of September 10, two teenagers with knife wounds were found in the city of Sharhorod, located in the Zhmerinka district of the Vinnytsia region. According to the people's deputy of Ukraine IX convocation, Larysa Bilozir, the tragedy occurred around 7:30 in the center of the city. Nearby the hospital, an unknown young man brutally killed two students of the 10th and 11th grades who were on their way to school.

In connection with the murder, investigators are conducting criminal proceedings under paragraph 1 of part 2 of article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which provides for punishment for intentional murder of two or more persons. The penalty for this article provides for imprisonment for a term of 10 to 15 years or life imprisonment.

The Sharhorod community is preparing to say goodbye to Vladislav and Mykola, who became victims of the attack by a former teacher. The mayor urged residents to honor their memory by attending the funeral and memorial service. The tragedy that occurred on the morning of September 10 shocked the local residents. The investigation into the intentional murder is ongoing.
