Former MP and military officer Nadia Savchenko compared two offensive operations: the counteroffensive in 2023 led by Valerii Zaluzhny and the Kursk operation in 2024 by Oleksandr Syrsky. In an interview on the ProUA YouTube channel, she stated that the approaches of the generals to the offensives were not the only differences, but also the attitude of Ukrainians towards the commanders-in-chief.

Kursk operation successful

Recall that the operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region of Russia demonstrated the ability of Ukrainian fighters to defeat numerically superior enemy forces, and forced the Russian Federation to redeploy about 50,000 invaders to the Russian region.
