SBU destroys the Temp oil depot in Rybinsk: a blow to the logistics of Russian troops.
Strike on the oil depot in Russia
According to ТСН: Long-range drones of the SBU struck the 'Temp' oil depot in the city of Rybinsk in the Yaroslavl region of Russia on the morning of December 31. This depot is part of the Russian reserve and plays a crucial role in supplying fuel to enemy troops.
According to a source in the Ukrainian special services, the 'Temp' oil depot was hit by drones from the Alpha special operations center. Rybinsk is a significant transit and logistics hub, and the oil depot itself is a key facility for the storage and distribution of petroleum products in the northeastern region of Russia.
The source also added that the attack video shows a large fire breaking out at the site after the drone strikes.
'The SBU continues to surgically cut the supply chains of Russian petroleum products both abroad and for the troops attacking Ukraine. This systematic work will continue into 2026,' emphasized the interlocutor.
It is also worth noting that the Ukrainian Armed Forces' drone systems carried out large-scale strikes on 12 military and infrastructure facilities of the Russians: 10 in occupied territories and two deep inside the RF. In particular, the oil depot in Rovenki, a landing craft base, and the ST-68 radar in Crimea’s Olenivka, substations in Melitopol and Molochansk, as well as the deployment points of the Rubicon-D special unit and enemy manpower in Sloviansk were hit.
Thus, the strike on the 'Temp' oil depot demonstrates the continuation of active actions by Ukrainian forces in the strategic destruction of Russian infrastructure. This strategy is aimed at reducing the enemy's capabilities in conducting combat operations and logistical supplies. The situation remains tense, and Ukrainian forces continue to work on eliminating critical objects supporting the Russian army.Read also
