Iran Plans to Use Belarus to Restore Its Defense Systems
According to FREEДOM: Iran plans to use Belarus to restore its defense systems, reports the Ukrainian Foreign Intelligence Service. The dictator of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, met with Iranian leader Masoud Pezeshkian in Minsk on August 20.
For Iran, an important issue during the negotiations was the possibility of restoring air defense systems and electronic warfare capabilities that were damaged during the conflict with Israel. Tehran is also interested in resolving issues related to electricity generation and agricultural machinery.
In light of declining demand from Russia and decreasing export volumes, Belarus could become an important partner for Iran.
