The Security Service uncovered a scheme to avoid mobilization in the Odesa region

According to inkorr.com: The Security Service of Ukraine has completed an investigation into an illegal scheme to evade mobilization in the Odesa region. The head and two members of a local team, who were involved in the sale of fake medical certificates, were detained on suspicion of fraud. This was reported by Glavkom.

The perpetrators issued false medical conclusions regarding serious illnesses and received compensation ranging from 3 thousand US dollars. The criminal scheme involved the chief cardiologist and a medical registrar. It has been established that the fraudsters serviced at least fifty individuals who sought to avoid mobilization or leave military service.

The detainees have been charged under articles 3 of article 368 and 1 of article 114-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine

At present, the suspects are in custody and face up to 10 years in prison with confiscation of property. It is also worth noting that a missile strike occurred in the Odesa region, resulting in the death of one woman and two men being injured.

The city of Tatarbunyary, which was most affected by the strike, was left without electricity supply. Current information can be found on the Glavkom website.

During the special operation, SBU officers revealed a scheme to evade mobilization, involving the head and members of the expert team. The perpetrators issued fake medical certificates regarding diseases and received bribes for this. Citizens seeking ways to avoid service could have been harmed due to this. The activities of the criminals were halted thanks to the efforts of law enforcement agencies.

This case illustrates the serious challenges faced by Ukraine in wartime conditions. Control over mobilization and law enforcement is extremely important for maintaining the state's defense capability. The efforts of law enforcement in this direction can significantly impact the effectiveness of mobilization processes and public trust in state institutions.
