The SBU detained a collaborator from Makiivka: she implemented Russian education in a kindergarten.
According to ТСН: The SBU detained a resident of Makiivka who has been actively collaborating with the occupation administration in Donetsk since 2014. The woman, who managed the kindergarten, implemented Russian educational standards and spread Kremlin propaganda among parents.
A 64-year-old woman was detained, who at the beginning of the occupation showed loyalty to the invaders by accepting their “offer” to head the preschool institution in her city.
SBU officers arrested her in Kyiv when she came to obtain a foreign passport with the intention of leaving for countries of the European Union.
Collaboration with the occupying authorities
It has been established that after being appointed to this pseudoposition, the woman began to implement the “educational standards” of the Russian Federation in the kindergarten. During parent meetings, she conducted persuasive talks, urging parents to cooperate with the occupiers and distributing propaganda literature and agitation materials with pro-Kremlin content.
The detainee has been notified of suspicion under collaboration activities, conducting propaganda in educational institutions to facilitate armed aggression against Ukraine.
Investigation is ongoing to establish all circumstances of the crime. The detainee faces imprisonment.
Verdict for another collaborator
In Mykolaiv region, a court has already sentenced a music school employee to 8 years in prison for transmitting data about the Armed Forces of Ukraine and mobilization measures to Russia. The woman sent photos and videos of military equipment movements and locations of Territorial Recruitment Centers to her sister in the Russian Federation and a representative of the aggressor state via Telegram.
This case emphasizes the importance of fighting against collaborationism in wartime. Establishing responsibility for those who cooperate with the occupiers is a key element in protecting Ukraine's national security. Law enforcement efforts to detect and detain collaborators continue, strengthening the state in the face of aggression.
