SBU uncovered Putin's plan Diversionary noise: how they neutralize Russian agents.
The head of the SBU, Vasyl Maliuk, stated that the Security Service is successfully countering the Russian plan 'Diversionary noise', which was personally sanctioned by the head of the Kremlin, Vladimir Putin. The SBU successfully neutralizes saboteurs and exposes agents who were preparing terrorist acts against Ukraine.
About this, Maliuk stated on the air of 'We are Ukraine'.
SBU counters saboteurs and Russian agents
The head of the SBU noted that Putin sanctioned 'Diversionary noise' at the end of 2023, after which the enemy began to conduct its diversions on a large scale throughout Ukraine. It started with arson of cars, and then the enemy began to work with homemade explosive devices. However, almost 80% of such activities are exposed in advance.
'Here, a very important role is played by the institution of double agency. The enemy firmly believes that there is a source, but in fact — it is our patriotically-minded citizens. We have created an intelligence 'cap' over each region. It allows us to control the situation and timely detain the enemy's accomplices,' said Maliuk.
He also reported that since the beginning of the full-scale war, the SBU's counterintelligence has exposed 118 Russian intelligence networks. Investigators have announced more than 3.5 thousand suspicions of treason, and 1 thousand sentences have already been issued (mostly 12-13 years of imprisonment, but there are also life sentences).
In addition, the head of the Security Service of Ukraine spoke about the exposure of the 'rats' Kozyura and Kulinych.
'Kozyura is indeed a top rat. We documented him for a long time, during which we implemented 14 episodes of misinformation transfer to the enemy. That is, we controlledly gave him information that he passed on to the other side. And in the FSB, they were clapping their hands: they thought they had obtained some top data... As for Kulinych — he is also sitting, imprisoned,' informed Maliuk.
A representative of the SBU, Vasyl Maliuk, stated that the service actively counters the actions of Russian saboteurs and agents on the territory of Ukraine, noting that many of their crimes were prevented due to the work of counterintelligence. He also provided information about already detected intelligence networks and exposed spies from the Russian side.Read also
