The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) left no chances for the enemy when it struck with drones at the Russian airbase in the city of Saky. One fighter jet was destroyed, and four more were damaged using drones. This happened on the night of August 4 and was a real blow for Russia.
As a result of the strike, the Su-30SM aircraft was completely destroyed, and another one was damaged. Three Su-24 aircraft were also hit. The enemy suffered significant losses, as the cost of just one Su-30SM jet can reach between 35 to 50 million dollars.
In total, the operation led to serious damage to Russian aviation and the destruction of an aviation weapons depot at the airbase. This clearly demonstrates Ukraine's response to threats and aggression from the neighboring country, affirming its readiness to defend its territory against hostile actions.
