According to reports, they collided with Ibrahim Iyun on his bicycle, after which they exited the vehicle in Phuket, Thailand.

They allegedly aimed a weapon at the victim and took his watch, valued at $75,000.

A blue Ford Everest was spotted as it drove into the bicycle, knocking the rider down.

Reports state that the assailants threatened the victim with both a gun and a knife.

The police arrested all four suspects, who are being considered potential members of a professional criminal gang.

The authorities suspect that the attackers targeted Iyun after observing him in a luxurious tourist area.

Police General Superintendent Sinlerd Sukum, commander of Phuket Provincial Police, noted: “At this moment, there are four suspects. We are interrogating them to determine if other individuals were involved.”

The American lawyer reported that he was on his way home after shopping when he became a victim of the attack.

“I have never seen any of these people before. This shows that criminals from abroad should not be welcomed in Thailand,” he remarked.

Among the witnesses were people who testified to the brutality of the attack, highlighting the speed of the police response to the incident.

The investigation is ongoing, and the police continue checking the identities of the arrested individuals to determine if they have committed similar crimes in the past.

Thus, the arrest of the British tourists serves as another reminder of the risks that can arise in tourist areas. The incident underscores the importance of safety and vigilance for both visitors and local authorities, as such cases can undermine confidence in the tourism infrastructure. The police also note that the investigation is ongoing, and details of the case may continue to unfold in the coming days.
