Ukraine's Minister of Foreign Affairs Andriy Sybiga called on allies to respond to the discovery of Western components in North Korean missiles that attacked Ukraine.
As "Khvylya" reports, he wrote about this on the social network X.
Sybiga asks allies to strengthen sanctions and export control. The goal of these actions is to prevent the use of Western components for Russian and North Korean missile production, which are used for strikes on Ukraine.
"Outrageous. A recent examination of the North Korean missile KN-23/24, shot down in Ukraine, revealed numerous newly manufactured Western-made components. Putin and Kim (Kim Jong Un) still have access to them. We urge allies to respond decisively, intensify sanctions and export control, strengthen our air shield," emphasized Ukraine's Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Earlier, Sybiga called for increased support for Ukraine because of North Korea's involvement in the war.
We also wrote that Ukraine might receive three types of missiles from South Korea in response to Russia's recruitment of "volunteers" from North Korea.
