Ukrainian Defense Forces Intensify Operations on Southern Front

According to TSN.ua: Ukrainian troops have initiated aggressive assault and counter-attack maneuvers on the southern front, particularly in the Orikhiv direction, aiming to halt the advance of Russian occupation forces. This development was reported by Vladyslav Voloshyn, spokesperson for the Southern Defense Forces, during a national telethon. He stated that the primary goal of the Russian invaders is to reach the settlement of Pokrovske and push toward the administrative borders of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

The situation in the region remains challenging. Voloshyn emphasized that Ukrainian Defense Forces are actively destroying the enemy and striving to prevent any further forward movement.

“The situation there is quite difficult, but the Defense Forces of Ukraine are destroying the enemy and trying to prevent them from advancing,” - Vladyslav Voloshyn.

He further stressed the continuation of counter-attack and assault operations, which complicates the enemy's position: “We are continuing our counter-attack and assault actions, so the enemy is in a tough spot there, but they have not ceased their activity.”
