Defense Forces repelled the occupiers from Kupiansk: what is the situation on the approaches to the city.

Spokesman of the operational-strategic group 'Khortytsia' Nazar Voloshyn reported that the Defense Forces of Ukraine have pushed the Russians away from Kupiansk and control the situation on the approaches to the city. He said this during a telethon.

According to him, the occupiers are trying to advance in small assault groups and accumulate forces.

In that direction, the situation has stabilized, and the enemy has been pushed back from Kupiansk. Equipment and enemies attempting to cross to the other bank are immediately destroyed by our fire assets, as well as FPV drones. Everything there is under the control of our Defense Forces. Even if some groups manage to cross, consisting of eight or ten people, only about two or three make it to the shore. That is, the enemy is being destroyed there.

The head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleg Synegubov, also confirmed that the Russians are crossing by boats to the right bank of the Oskil in Kupiansk, but Ukrainian defenders are destroying such groups.

Yes, such incidents occurred. These constant reconnaissance and sabotage groups test the defensive positions of our servicemen and employ various tactics. They cross the Oskil in boats and traverse effectively through minefields. Our soldiers identify all these incidents and try to maximally eliminate the enemy at the approaches to Kupiansk and other territories. Active battles have been ongoing in that direction for the second day.

As reported on the night of November 28, analysts from the Deep State project indicated that the Defense Forces of Ukraine have completed the expulsion of the enemy from the city of Kupiansk. In addition, analysts report enemy movements near Novomlynsk in the Kharkiv region, Dali, Kostiantynivka, Rozdolne, Petrivka, and Kurakhove in Donetsk region.

As a reminder, on the night of November 14, the analytical project DeepState reported new successful advances of the Russian occupation forces in eastern Ukraine: in particular, the Russians succeeded in occupying Illinka and entering Kupiansk.

Earlier, Deep State analysts reported that the occupiers are advancing close to Kurakhove and capturing villages in direct proximity to the city. Additionally, in recent weeks it has been reported that the occupiers are actively pressuring the city of Kurakhove to seize it before winter.

Moreover, the DeepState project reported earlier that the Russians occupied Rivnopil and advanced in several directions.
