Ukrainian troops in the Kursk direction are destroying Russians
Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky established the main tasks for the Ukrainian troops in the Kursk direction. Despite the superiority of Russian forces, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to destroy enemy units. Syrsky reported this on Facebook.
Our main task now is to strengthen the resilience of defense, inflict maximum losses on the enemy, prepare reserves, and ensure uninterrupted supply of ammunition and other material and technical resources to the units and subdivisions, he noted.
According to the general, work is being carried out both at headquarters and directly on the battlefield almost around the clock.
Our soldiers effectively and systematically destroy the advancing superior forces of the enemy, added Syrsky.
Ukrainian artillerymen, who are heroically fighting in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation, have received state awards and military honors. Syrsky reported this on Facebook.
Recent data indicates that Ukrainian forces recently made progress in the Kursk direction, particularly south of Daryno. This is evidenced by geolocation footage released by analysts at the Institute for the Study of War (ISW). Information about unsuccessful counterattacks by Ukrainian forces near Daryno, Mykolaiv-Daryno, Novoivanivka, and Pograbki was also disseminated.
According to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), although the Russian army is gathering forces for a counteroffensive and pushing the Armed Forces of Ukraine out of the Russian territory of the Kursk region, the number of the Russian military group is not catastrophic.
According to certain data, Russian President Vladimir Putin is trying to reclaim the Kursk region before the inauguration of the newly elected U.S. President Donald Trump, which will take place on January 20.
