The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi personally honored Ukrainian warriors by awarding the fighters of the 95th Separate Air Assault Polissia Brigade. This was reported by the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Saturday, August 16.

The head of the Armed Forces personally presented state prizes and military awards to the paratroopers, emphasizing their resilience, professionalism, and devotion to Ukraine.
Syrskyi also praised the contribution of the Polissia paratroopers to the defense of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the state and stressed the significance of each soldier in the common struggle for victory.
'You are one of the best brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and always demonstrate the true spirit of a paratrooper! You respond immediately to enemy threats, damaging the plans and intentions of the Russian leadership. Russian troops retreat where you stand!', the general noted.
We remind that Volodymyr Zelensky also awarded successful Ukrainian defenders on the most challenging sections of the front, and it has also been reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to regain control over two villages in Donetsk region.
