A woman reported that employees of the Kovel City Military Recruitment Center beat her husband and took him to the hospital. The ombudsman's representative was unable to speak with the victim. After the police arrived, he was taken to a military unit. The actions of the employees contradict the law and may be classified as a crime. The ombudsman informed the prosecutor's office and the State Bureau of Investigation. Earlier, the ombudsman claimed that the violent approach to mobilizing citizens using force was gradually fading away but later refuted this statement.
In Kyiv, a man was fined for hooliganism during a document check by the military recruitment center representatives. He used obscene language towards the police and military recruitment center employees.
