According to ТСН: Donald Trump Jr., son of U.S. President Donald Trump, responded to the criticism of special envoy Steve Vitkoff, who found himself at the center of a scandal due to the leak of transcripts of his conversations with representatives of Russia.

This scandal erupted after media published a transcript of Vitkoff's conversation with a Russian assistant to President Vladimir Putin, Yuri Ushakov. American politicians and media criticized the special envoy for these negotiations.

In response to this criticism, Trump Jr. accused his opponents of their unwillingness to end the war in Ukraine.

"It seems that these media and 'deep state' idiots have never successfully negotiated a deal in the real world. It is quite obvious that almost all critics of Vitkoff want any peace agreement with Ukraine to fail so that they can continue this war indefinitely. Enough – that is enough!"

It is worth noting that on November 25, Bloomberg published the transcript of the conversation from October 14 between Vitkoff and Ushakov, which discussed the preparation of a peace plan. The American official suggested that Russia work together on this plan and advised Putin to call Trump before Zelensky's visit (October 17) and praise him for the deal in Gaza to "get things moving".

Moreover, U.S. Special Envoy Steve Vitkoff nearly disrupted the supply of Tomahawk cruise missiles to Ukraine by advising Russian President's assistant Yuri Ushakov on the phone call between Russian and American leaders.
