This was stated by the mayor of the city, Igor Terekhov, in an interview with 'Glavkom'.

'In addition to Derzhprom, other architectural monuments in Kharkiv were also damaged, such as the Beketov buildings, the Korolenko Library, and many other architectural landmarks. Many historical buildings that create the architectural ensemble of Kharkiv have been partially or completely destroyed,' Terekhov said.

Buildings of higher educational institutions were also damaged, including Karazin University, the Polytechnic Institute, and others. According to the mayor's statements, the Northern Saltivka district suffered the most due to constant shelling.

'This area has been shelled directly by enemy fire since the beginning of the invasion when the enemy was on the ring road near Kharkiv. Nearly all residential buildings, schools, kindergartens, and hospitals in this area have been damaged by shelling,' the mayor emphasized.

Terekhov stressed that Kharkiv is constantly under shelling due to its location near the border with the Russian Federation. He added that there is no district in the city that has not suffered from shelling.
