How long should the probation period last in Ukraine? Explanation by State Labor Service.
According to current legislation, the duration of the probation period cannot exceed three months, unless otherwise stipulated by legislation or collective agreements. This was reported by specialists from the Southeastern Interregional Office of the State Labor Service.
It is noted that days when the worker did not actually work, regardless of the reason, are not counted towards the probation period. These norms are established in Article 27 of the Labor Code of Ukraine.
In the context of war, when many Ukrainians have become internally displaced persons or have gone abroad, it is important to know how to act if a worker changes their place of residence. Attention should also be paid to information about the termination of the employment contract with an employee who temporarily cannot work.
For more detailed information about labor rights and obligations, it is recommended to contact specialists from the State Labor Service.
Let us remind you, there is a big problem with staffing in the state service. A certain number of vacancies have been identified.
