The press service of the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center and the Kyiv City State Administration warned Kyiv residents about the approaching bad weather. According to forecasts, snowfall, strengthening winds, and possible icing are expected.

On Monday, cloudy weather with light snow showers at night and more intense rain-snow showers is expected before the day. Drivers are advised to be cautious on the roads due to the possible accumulation of ice.

Northwest winds are expected at a speed of 7-12 m/s, with gusts up to 15-20 m/s at night and up to 25-28 m/s during the day.

The air temperature will be close to zero at night and from +3 to +5 degrees during the day.

Meteorologists warn of possible problems with the operation of enterprises and complications in traffic due to such weather.

City residents are advised to close windows and remove objects from balconies that may fall. It is also recommended to avoid advertising signs, power lines, and large trees. Drivers are advised to maintain a safe distance and be careful on icy roads, while pedestrians should use reflective devices in the dark.
