Slovakia deported a Ukrainian over accusations of preparing a coup.
A Ukrainian citizen was deported from Slovakia on charges of collaborating with Ukrainian special services. However, no evidence of these accusations has been presented. This was reported by Dennik N.
According to the Slovak police, the decision to deport was made after an investigation revealed 'specific grounds and conclusions' regarding the citizen's involvement in organized crime and his connections with Ukrainian criminal groups and special services.
However, no evidence of these connections was presented, and it was also noted that the Ukrainian did not challenge this decision. In addition to deportation, he was banned from entering Slovakia and other Schengen countries for two years.
It should be recalled that earlier, the Prime Minister of Slovakia threatened to block aid to Ukraine from the European Union if President Volodymyr Zelensky did not resume the transit of Russian gas through his territory. Fico also called Zelensky an enemy of Slovakia.
It is also worth noting that Poland will begin systematic deportations of foreigners who violate the law as a precautionary measure against illegal migration. And Switzerland deported three Ukrainians - this is the first case of deportation since the beginning of the war.
