Winter Country at VDNH will open on November 29: what to expect for guests.

According to ТСН: This year, winter holidays at VDNH will start earlier - already on November 29, the National Complex "Expo Center of Ukraine" will begin the eleventh season of one of the most beloved projects of Ukrainians - "Winter Country". The VDNH team has prepared a festive atmosphere for everyone who wants to feel the spirit of Christmas and New Year, even if it's still autumn outside.

New Year Atmosphere and Entertainment

This year, the central entrance will greet guests with a light photo zone and an alley of glowing Christmas trees, creating a "light passage" into a fairy-tale world. The aromas of cinnamon and mulled wine, festive melodies, and flash mobs by snowmen will accompany visitors, not forgetting the main Christmas tree.

The ice rink this year claims to be the largest in Ukraine - its area will exceed 3000 m². It will become the center of winter entertainment, as a fairy-tale tower with a clock will be located in the center of the ice arena, along with a New Year train that will be an ideal photo spot. A magical clock counting down to the holiday will also be installed at the Central Pavilion of the Expo Center.

Santa's Residence and New Opportunities

"Santa's Residence" will move and this year will become even larger, operating in Pavilion No. 1. Guests will be welcomed by fairy-tale decorations, a New Year mailbox for wish letters, and Santa himself with elves. Nearby, there will be a "Christmas Dream Factory" where elves will help children create New Year decorations and fulfill the most cherished wishes.

A new area will also appear where snow will remain regardless of the weather. Here you can build snowmen, make angels, and have snowball fights. Snow decorations will complement the roofs of pavilions and market houses, creating a truly festive atmosphere.

Light Installations and Entertainment

The park of light installations Illuminarium, which became a favorite last season, will operate at the location of the art space "V'yava". Its updated exhibition will impress everyone, providing a plethora of bright photos for social media. New thematic photo zones will also appear in the "Greenhouse of Charms," and the "Shumiland" will also join the winter season, accessible by passing under arches and light paths.

At the central square of VDNH, traditional winter attractions like a winter slide, a Ferris wheel, a carousel, and extreme rides will operate. Nearby, a Christmas market will unfold with mulled wine, treats, grilled dishes, and crafted souvenirs. A little further, the Warm Alley with a food court, New Year melodies, and live performances on weekends will operate. Throughout the winter season, the Northern Express with audio excursions will also run, providing a festive mood.

In the territory of the "Winter Country," about 20 thematic locations with warm relaxation areas and shelters in case of air alerts will operate daily from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM. In case of power outages, all VDNH zones will operate from their own generators, and the alleys will be illuminated thanks to energy-efficient LED lighting.

The Winter Country at VDNH gives Ukrainians the opportunity to immerse themselves in a festive atmosphere and enjoy a variety of entertainment.
