According to ТСН: US President Donald Trump hinted that in the event of negotiation failures, there may be a threat of the war continuing.
He expressed this opinion after meeting with Volodymyr Zelensky.
«If nothing happens, they will continue to fight and die. It’s bad. If nothing comes of it – the war will continue, deaths will continue. Neither Zelensky, nor I, nor Putin want this,» Trump said.
Donald Trump also noted that during the meeting with the President of Ukraine, substantial progress was made on the issue of ending the war.
Volodymyr Zelensky added that the teams discussed "all aspects of the peace agreement," and the 20-point peace plan is "90% agreed upon".
This meeting between Trump and Zelensky highlighted the importance of diplomacy in resolving the conflict. Both leaders expressed a common goal – to avoid further casualties and find a peaceful resolution to the situation. The current negotiations are of significant importance for stability in the region.
