According to the special forces, they landed on Humvee, loaded the friendly forces' cargo, and headed back. The evacuation group came under fire from a Russian tank and heavy machine-gun fire, as well as an FPV drone. The servicemen of the Defense Forces were successfully evacuated.
According to data from the Institute for the Study of War, the Russian army is preparing for a counteroffensive and pushing the Armed Forces of Ukraine out of Russia, but the number of Russian military units in the Kursk region is not critical. It is also known that Vladimir Putin wants to reclaim the Kursk region from the Armed Forces of Ukraine before the inauguration of U.S. President Donald Trump.
Thanks to the successful operation in the Kursk region, the Armed Forces of Ukraine were able to capture many occupiers and remove Russian equipment from Ukrainian territory.
