True attitude of the Russian Federation: Sibiga made an important statement about the Easter ceasefire.
Ukraine proposed to Russia to prolong the ceasefire for 30 days. However, there is still no response from Russia. This information was confirmed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sibiga.
According to Minister Sibiga, although the combat activity has slightly decreased, Russian troops continue to attack Ukraine's positions. But Ukraine responds adequately to these attacks.
Sibiga emphasized that Ukraine is ready for a 30-day complete silence if Russia agrees to it.
However, according to Sky News reports, the Kremlin's press service stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin has not ordered the extension of the Easter ceasefire. This statement came before the end of the current silence regime, which was established by Russia.
Sibiga emphasized that Russia's actions after the end of the silence regime will show how seriously they take the peace efforts of the United States and the proposal for a 30-day ceasefire.
