USA sends nuclear submarine to the Middle East.
US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin ordered the deployment of the nuclear submarine USS Georgia to the Middle East and the acceleration of the aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln, the Pentagon reported.

Expressing his support, Austin ordered the USS ABRAHAM LINCOLN carrier strike group, equipped with F-35 fighters, to accelerate its movement to the Central Command area of responsibility. Meanwhile, the aircraft carrier Theodore Roosevelt is already in the region.
In addition, the head of the Pentagon instructed the deployment of the guided missile submarine USS Georgia to the Central Command area.
During the phone conversation, Austin and Gallant also discussed Israel's operations in Gaza, as well as efforts to reach a ceasefire agreement and release hostages.
The topic of the conversation also included efforts to deter aggression from Iran, the Lebanese "Hezbollah," and other groups linked to Iran throughout the region.
