The USA is preparing a military aid package for Ukraine worth $1.25 billion

According to Associated Press, the USA is preparing the next package of defense aid for Ukraine amounting to $1.25 billion. This package will include ammunition and missiles for air defense systems.

The military aid package from the USA totaling $1.25 billion will be announced soon. This will be part of President Joe Biden's administration efforts to provide Ukraine with as much support as possible before the end of his term on January 20.

It is noted that this significant aid package will include a large number of ammunition, particularly for surface-to-air missile systems (SAM) and the Hawk air defense system.

The military aid package will also include Stinger missiles and 155mm and 105mm artillery shells.

An official announcement regarding the provision of aid is expected on December 30.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky also announced an increase in military support from the USA.

Let us remind you that Ukraine has already received a previous aid package from the USA worth $1 billion, obtained from revenues from frozen Russian assets.

The US Department of Defense has also signed a contract worth $253.7 million with Williams International to increase missile production under the military support program for Ukraine.
