The USA urged China to stop Putin.

The US Permanent Representative to the UN, Robert Wood, urged China to use its influence to stop the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin. He accused China of supporting Russia, which is the aggressor in the war against Ukraine.

Wood emphasized that if China seriously regarded the principles of sovereignty and territorial integrity, it would use its influence to stop the Russian Federation from violating the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.

According to Wood, China continues to supply Russia with dual-use goods that support the Russian military-industrial complex.

The US representative also stressed that the Russians are using Chinese products to strike civilian objects and infrastructure in Ukraine.

'If China truly wants a peaceful resolution to the war between Russia and Ukraine, it must stop supplying the Russian military machine, impose sanctions on the Russian Federation, urge Moscow to withdraw its troops, and demonstrate leadership to the international community as a permanent member of this Council, responsible for upholding the principles of the UN Charter,' Wood added.
