In the Odesa region, beaches where the water is safe for swimming have been identified. The list includes popular locations in Odesa, Chornomorsk, and Prymorskyi. The list was prepared after recent laboratory tests.

Where to swim safely in Odesa

According to specialists, laboratory tests showed that it is safe to swim at several beaches without risking health.

In Odesa, the following beaches received 'green light': inclusive beach 'Bez Mez' and 'Kaleton' at 'Dolphin', 'Buffet' at Small Fountain, 'Grand Pettin' at Dacha Kovalevskyi, 'Ithaca' in 'Arcadia', 'Cuba', 'Chayka', 'Sigal Beach', 'Resort', 'Public', central beach in Chornomorsk, a section in Prymorske of Izmail District, as well as 'Ibiza', 'Underhill', 'Liberty', 'Golden Coast', 'Coconut', 'Varadero', 'Korabluk', 'Kiwi', and a municipal beach for people with disabilities. 'Solo Beach' near Langeron was also recognized as safe.

Safe beaches in Odesa region

In Chornomorsk, swimming is allowed at the central city beach, and in Izmail District — in the village of Prymorske.

Some popular places in Odesa and Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi districts have not yet officially opened. In particular, these are the beaches in Sychavka, Hrybivka, Prymorske, Lyman, Resort, Velyka Balabanivka, and Zatoka.

Specialists warn: after downpours, the water may temporarily become unsafe for swimming, so it is worth checking current information.
