On his birthday, Vladimir Putin will meet with the leaders of the Commonwealth of Independent States countries. This was reported by the Russian press.

Leaders of the CIS countries will come to Moscow for a summit to be held next week, on October 7.

“There will be nothing particularly festive. At noon he (Putin - ed.) will have non-public working meetings, and in the evening, indeed, the heads of the CIS states will be with the president. We will additionally inform you of everything,” said Putin's spokesperson Dmitry Peskov.

Peskov noted that “next week there will be a full-scale meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the CIS member countries with quite a full agenda.”

On October 7, Vladimir Putin will turn 72 years old.

Recall that Putin may visit Qatar. This was announced by the Ambassador of Qatar to the Russian Federation, Ahmed bin Nasser bin Jassim Al Thani.
