Old Russian-language books can be exchanged for new Ukrainian ones: promotion conditions.
As part of the 'Get rid of the unnecessary - choose your own!' promotion, Ukrainians can exchange their old Russian-language books for new editions in Ukrainian. This initiative has received significant support, gathering over 2,000 Russian-language books for further processing. The publishing house 'Ranok' offers participants discounts or certificates for the purchase of new Ukrainian-language books.
The collected Russian-language books will be sent for processing, and the funds received will go to support the military of the 53rd Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This promotion has become not only a symbolic but also a practical way to support Ukrainian publishers and the military, as well as to clear one's space of 'unnecessary items'. The indefinite promotion allows anyone willing to join at any time.
Books that caused outrage among readers
Against the backdrop of this promotion, it is also known that the publishing house 'Club of Family Leisure' will destroy a large number of copies of the novel 'Brutal Prince' due to its content, which caused outrage among Ukrainian readers.
The initiative to exchange old Russian-language books for new Ukrainian-language editions has received great support among Ukrainians. Thus, in addition to supporting the military and Ukrainian publishers, people have the opportunity to actively participate in the process of cleansing the information space from materials that have caused negative emotions among the public.
