Start of the Heating Season in Ukraine: Which Regions Are Already With Heat.
The heating season has officially started in Ukraine
According to the Kyiv city and regional administrations, more than 58% of boilers across the country are already operational. About 30% of residential buildings and 60% of socially important facilities, including healthcare and educational institutions, are supplied with heat.
The best results are shown by three regions. In the Volyn region, almost 100% of the housing stock and 99% of social facilities are heated. In the Ternopil region, 100% of the housing stock and 97% of social facilities are connected. The Chernihiv region has provided heat to 96% of the housing stock and almost 99% of social facilities.
However, there are significant heating issues in the frontline areas. The situation is particularly difficult in the city of Pokrovsk, Donetsk region, and in the village of Slobozhanske, Kharkiv region, due to a worsening security situation and damage to critical infrastructure.
The State Energy Supervision carries out constant monitoring of the process of connecting heating supply facilities and ensuring consumers are provided with heat in all regions of Ukraine.
