Analysis of the debris from the 'Oreshnik' rocket raises questions for Vladimir Putin

Researchers have discovered a serial number and production date on one part of the 'Oreshnik' rocket, confirming that it was manufactured in 2017-2018 and had been stored for a long Time. Experts believe that the 'Oreshnik' could be the RS-26 'Rubezh' missile, development of which began in the early 2010s.

The components of the rocket are linked to the aerospace enterprise NPCAP, which develops control systems for various missile complexes, confirming that this enterprise was involved in the development of the equipment for the 'Oreshnik'.

Moreover, scientists believe that the rocket may have been created using the method of collecting ready-made elements and has a design that combines stages from the intercontinental missile 'Yars'. Such an approach violates the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty with the USA, which Russia continues to ignore.

The investigation of the debris is ongoing, and new conclusions may reveal additional violations by Russia of international norms.
